The only travel entry requirements to the
Dominican Republic are: a valid passport and the purchase a tourist card
or a Visa (depending on your country of residency, country of origin and
citizenship).
The tourist card costs between US$10.00 to
US$12.00 dollars and is good for visiting the country for two months.
United States citizens and citizens from
the countries listed below can buy a "tourist card" when they get to the
Dominican Republic (the card is available at the airport). They don't
need to obtain a visa prior to departure.
Also, United States residents (green card
holders) which country of origin is not mentioned below, need to obtain
a tourist card before traveling to the Dominican Republic. This card can
be purchased at either your nearest Dominican Republic's Consulate or
thru a travel agency.

need to obtain a visa before traveling to the Dominican Republic.

get a visa, you can apply at the closest Dominican consulate. There is
a form to fill out and two 2x2 photos are required. You might have to
provide bank statements and a work letter; the cost for the tourist visa
is US$60.00
